Our Vision
A community where no one faces mental health struggles alone — where music, faith and safe spaces bring hope within reach for every person, every day.
The future we see
Across the UK, too many people are fighting silent battles — with depression, anxiety, money stress, loneliness and thoughts of suicide. Some feel let down by systems. Others feel judged or misunderstood by faith spaces. Many feel they have to choose between getting clinical help and holding on to their faith.
Our vision is a different story. We see a community where churches, mental health services and everyday believers work together so that no one has to hide, and no one has to face the dark on their own.
What a Lifted Life community looks like
- Safe spaces first. Environments — on air, online and in person — where it is okay to say “I am not okay” without shame or shock.
- Music as a bridge. Worship, gospel and soul that help people feel seen and soften the ground for honest conversation and practical help.
- Faith and psychology together. Bible truth and modern mental health understanding working side by side, not against each other.
- Joined-up support. Listeners and community members easily finding pathways to churches, peer support and professional services when they need more than a broadcast.
How we move toward this vision
We build step by step: partnering with churches and organisations, training our team, improving our safeguarding and listening carefully to people with lived experience of mental health struggles. Every show, every song choice, every partnership is one more move toward a UK where Christian spaces are known for both compassion and wisdom.
As Romans 12 verse 15 reminds us, “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” Our vision is a church and a wider community that does both — with honesty, humility and hope.
“Until there is not one person listening to Lifted Life who feels they have to suffer in silence — our work is not finished.”
