What are cookies?

Cookies we use

Essential cookies — required for the site to function properly. These handle authentication, security and basic functionality. You cannot opt out of these cookies as the site would not work without them.

Consent preference — we store liftedlife_analytics_consent_v1 in local storage so the website remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics.

Google Analytics — only loaded after you choose “Accept analytics”. It may set _ga and _ga_* first-party cookies to distinguish visits and maintain session state. Lifted Life limits these cookies to about 13 months from the first visit and does not renew that period on each visit.

What analytics measures

With consent, we measure page views, scrolls, outbound links, downloads, embedded video engagement and agreed calls to action such as Listen Live, Donate, Volunteer, Contact and Leave a Google Review.

We also measure a successful website form as a general lead event, labelled only by form type. We do not send the form fields or their contents to Google. Automatic form-interaction and site-search capture are disabled, email redaction is active, and common personal query-string fields are redacted.

Advertising storage, advertising user data and personalised advertising are disabled. We do not use Google Analytics until you have actively consented.

Managing your choice

When you first visit, you can accept or reject analytics. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to Lifted Life. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the website footer.

You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• View what cookies are stored on your device
• Delete individual or all cookies
• Block cookies from specific or all websites
• Set preferences for first-party and third-party cookies

Analytics provider and retention

Google Analytics is provided by Google. Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is retained for up to 14 months without resetting the retention period on new activity. Standard aggregated reports may remain available for longer.
