Mental Health Signposting

Connecting people with professional help and support — because sometimes hope needs a map.

About

Why signposting matters

When someone is struggling, knowing where to turn can feel impossible. The NHS website has thousands of pages. Google returns millions of results. Friends give conflicting advice. And when you are already overwhelmed, the last thing you need is more confusion.

Lifted Life acts as a trusted guide. We don’t replace professional help — we help people find it. We bridge the gap between “I need help” and “here is where to get it.”

What we provide

  • Crisis pathways. Clear, direct routes to emergency services, Samaritans (116 123), NHS urgent care and local crisis teams when someone is at immediate risk.
  • Counselling connections. Information about accessing talking therapies through the NHS, charities and private providers — including what to expect and how to ask.
  • Local support. Links to community groups, peer support networks and faith-based counselling in different areas.
  • Practical resources. Help with issues that affect mental health — debt advice, housing support, employment services, benefits guidance.

A bridge, not a destination

Lifted Life is not a counselling service. We are a bridge to one. Our role is to reduce the barriers between someone struggling and the help they need — whether that is a GP appointment, a crisis line or a local support group.

“Sometimes the bravest thing is asking for help. We make that easier.”
